COVID-19 has changed the way we live, how we conduct work and how we socialize with each other. It has been encouraging to see how technology has played an integral part in carrying us forward. Zoom is now a household name, even my grandparents who could not manage to get FaceTime to work for the longest time, are now zooming with us daily to see our kids.
Google classroom is making learning a different experience for this and future generations. As I sit here from my home office, I ponder to myself, how will businesses ever operate the same again? Working from home or remotely may not be ideal for everyone but it sure is nice to have that option. I’ve been on numerous phone calls with support call centers over the last few months, they sound happier working from home, and certainly a lot more helpful. Consumers are adapting to interact with businesses in more ways than before, this trend is here to stay even as the Country opens up, eventually.
Over the past few months, I’ve had the privilege to work with varies businesses and applying solutions to help them adapt to the current social economic climate. I can honestly say that those early adopters to the “cloud” really paid off, while others scramble to adapt on the fly. I’m hopeful that we get back to the NEW NORMAL soon.
